Does the Bible teach that things evolved?

No, the Bible teaches that an all creator God made everything in six literal days and rested the seventh. Please notice we still have a six day week and rest the seventh. Some people try to fit evolution into the Bible by saying each day in Genesis is a long period of time, this is simply more unbelievable than six literal days due to the fact the Bible says God made the plants on day three…

“Gen 1:11-13  And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day.”

and the sun on day four…

Gen 1:16-19 “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.”

How long could day three be before the plants would all die? Would they last millions of years? I don’t think so, some people try to have it both ways, they want the bible and evolution, it doesn’t work. The Bible teaches that God made man in his image, not through slow gradual processes from monkey to man. Is it logical to believe that God could create such intricate things like matter and energy, but not a whole person all at once? God is so much bigger than we give him credit for. He is able to create all things and destroy all things.
