Why is there death and suffering in the world today?

I like lots of other people asked my self this question over and over while I was growing up. Several of my class mates committed suicide and I had a very rough family life. Thinking there was no real answer or purpose to life I would do whatever gave me pleasure. I was taught Evolution in school which made it clear that the Bible was a fairy tale or so I thought. When I looked at life with the evolutionary view I could not explain why there was death and suffering. In extreme depression I began to examine my life and ask questions like: What are we here for? Where did we really come from? What happens to us when we die? Some of my close friends at the time were Christians ,and I made some horrible comments about Jesus. They then did as the Bible says to do and gave an answer to my scoffing. They asked me what I believed and I told them “Evolution thats science!” They began to ask me questions like: If evolution is true Where did matter and energy come from? What is the point to life? Can a hair brush evolve? What came first the stomach or stomach acid? I began to see the whole Evolution theory was a sham created by men who don’t want to answer to God for their sin. So they pretend he does not exist and convince other to do the same.

If we look at life from the Biblical perspective we can understand everything. The Bible says God made every thing perfectly there was no death or suffering in the beginning. God gave man a choice he didn’t force us to love him or else it would not have been real. God put Adam and eve in a perfect garden where they lived with God himself. There was no pain or death, God told Adam in Genesis 2:17 “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surley die.” But just like children today Adam did not listen to his father and him and Eve both ate.

Genesis chapter 3

1Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

-Here we see Satan tricking Eve by making her question what God said, the very same thing Evolution does by asking if God really made everything in six literal days.
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

- Here is Eve changing Gods word to fit her lie just like Christians do today when they try to fit billions of years into the Bible using the gap theory. God did not say anything about Eve touching the fruit did he? She must have either made it up or got it from Adam.

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

-And here satan blatantly lies about what God said, similar to todays Evolutionists.
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

So God allowed death and suffering because of mans disobedience. God loves us so much in spite of our disobedience he has provided a way back to no death and suffering in heaven, through Jesus. He died of the cross to pay the peanalty for our sins. The Bible says that if we ask Jesus to save us from Hell and forgive us of our sins we can know today and forever that we are going to heaven when we die. I thought this was quite silly when I first heard this ,then I thought what if they are right and I’m wrong and I don’t get saved? Then I am going to spend an eternity burning in hell, that would be stupid. So I humbled my self and admitted I am have done wrong things and I needed Jesus to save me from Hell. Now I know I am on my way to heaven when I die and I understand why there is death and suffering.
