2Kings 6:17 “Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain [was] full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.”
Today I was thinking of a verse when I first woke up-still recovering from the plague. “We are more than conquerors through him that loved us.†Romans 8:37 Then I began to read a book I have been slowly working my way through. An autobiography of a woman who was in a Nazi camp, this is the part where she gets to the worst camp in Germany. Her and her sister happen to slip a Bible past two different search stations and are in their barraks wondering how they are going to handle no food, lice, fleas, nasty bedding, backed up tolets and thousands of sick women. They pull out their Bible and remember what they had read that morning-”we are more than conquerers through him that loved us” Romans 8:37. I am glad God is alive and he is paying attention to every detail of our lives! Then they read “give thanks always in all things for this is the will of God concerning youâ€. As they started looking for things to give thanks for they realized they had thousands of hopeless women they could share the gospel with! What an awesome responsibility, those women probably would under normal circumstances be so caught up in the things of this world that they wouldn’t care to learn about God. It is neat how God can work through impossible circumstances for his glory! What an awesome God we have!

Are you sick? I loved that book! I love the way they thank God for the lice because then the guards would not come in and they could freely read the Bible and teach the other women about Christ–I need to reread that book!
Just getting over the plague-That book is great so far-luckily I just read that part about the fleas! God is so good- he has changed my perspective through this book. Even the most terrible circumstances can be used by him for good, that’s reassuring! Are you taking pictures every day?
