“How can we have peace?”

This collage is about “How can we have peace?”What can Christians do about political ciaos. How can we have peace during all this trouble? The world around us seems to be falling apart. Right now this verse seems to come alive in our daily lives:

“And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for [such things] must needs be; but the end [shall] not [be] yet.For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these [are] the beginnings of sorrows Mark 13:7-8″

All of it is to be expected from a Biblical perspective. It is exactly what the Bible said would happen when people turn away from God.They end up hurting themselves and others, so what do we do about it? The only answer is to share the gospel! Tell others about Jesus fulfilling the old testament scriptures and bringing salvation. It is true, logical and people need to know they can be saved.

Prophecies in the Bible have come true and continue to come true. In 1948 Israel became a nation- this was another prophecy in the Bible. Christian really have nothing to fear God promises that “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.”Romans 8:28. God will help us through all these things but our end goal needs to be saved souls. Jesus told the disciples “Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.”Mark 1:17 How could that be interpreted any other way than that we need to be reaching others with the gospel.

Jesus said “Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel [them] to come in, that my house may be filled.” Luke 14:23 I do not know how that could be interpreted any other way than to invite others to believe on the Lord so they can go the Heaven also. We need to be reaching people with the gospel. Nothing is secure in this life. You can have money one day and lose it the next, health one day and lose it the next, family, job, nothing is secure anymore except heaven. If you have accepted Jesus heaven is your home why wouldn’t you want that for others too. We need to show our love by sharing the gospel with a people who are scarred, poor wretched and blind. God is in control, everything is following his plan laid down in the Bible, we can have peace in knowing he has given us the beginning to the end of the world.

in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Romans 8:37
