How Do I Know If I Will Go To Heaven?
Not knowing what will happen when you die is like driving a car with out having a destination. The Bible is the only book that gives us a sure formula to get us to heaven. There is no other religion or book that promises with certainty that we can posses eternal life with out a shadow of a doubt. This is what I find in the scriptures:
Realize you have done wrong-All have sinned Romans 3:23
You deserve hell-all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: Romans 21:8
Jesus was killed for your sins, to pay for them-they pierced my hands and my feet.-Psalm 22-”He was wounded for our transgressions-Isaiah 53
You should pray-just open your heart to God. Tell him you know you have done things that are wrong, and you want him to forgive you and save you from hell because Jesus died for your sins. Then you will know that heaven is your home! There is no better feeling than being forgiven!-For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10
You now have obtained eternal life-These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 1 Jo 5:13
“Don’t let your heart become blinded to the truth of the gospel”
“For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.” Acts 28:27
Once you see the truth it’s not complicated.
Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6
| “ | Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13 |
Think of our options “that great city” Rev 21:10 or “the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:”Rev 21:8
The answer is clear and simple, trusting in Jesus gives us hope that endures and peace throughout any circumstance.
Heaven It’s like waiting for the most amazing vacation that will never end.
