What Will Heaven Be Like?

What is heaven going to be like?

From the earthly things around us we can imagine a tiny bit of what heaven will be like. The colors described in the Bible of being in heaven can certainly be seen around us in the flowers, tree, rocks…ect

Revelation 4:2 , a throne was set in heaven, and [one] sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and [there was] a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. And round about the throne [were] four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

The Bible tells us that Jesus known as the Lamb of God will receive “Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, [be] unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Rev5:13 From this we can tell that Jesus is God.

This verse describing God saysRevelation 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about [him]; and [they were] full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.” The holy, holy holy part is another example of where we understand that God is a trinity-three in one God.

This tells us that there are creatures in heaven we have never seen before..

“And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:” Rev 19:1

This is describing us and other believers in heaven.

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Rev 7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Our relationship with God in heaven is wonderful! If we have accepted Jesus as our savior we aught not to fear death, heaven will be greater than we can imagine.

And the armies [which were] in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. Rev 19:14

During the tribulation we will ride on horses with Jesus when he purges the earth, before making his new perfect kingdom, the New Jerusalem.

“And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” Revelation 21:2

“And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Revelation 21:10”

There will be a new everlasting kingdom and we will be given a job to do in it, if we are saved “Our name is written in heaven” the Bible says.
