Esther
“Esther Cat”
This is our cat named “Esther” after the Esther from the Bible painted for my daughter. The Esther from the Bible gives us more evidence (you would have to be blind to not see) that the scriptures are accurate. …
The feast of Esther took place on “the fourteenth day of the month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same, yearly,” Esther 9:21. According to the scriptures. They began to hold the feast because of the particular circumstances Esther and the Jewish people faced.“But when [Esther] came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he devised against the Jews, should return upon his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.Wherefore they called these days Purim after the name of Pur.” Esther 9:25-26. Esther had a wicked man who wanted to kill her and the Jews, but God stepped in and helped Esther. The king turned it around and the man “Hayman” which desired to do these evil things received his judgment. Then to celebrate “As the days wherein the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which was turned unto them from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day: that they should make them days of feasting and joy, and of sending portions one to another, and gifts to the poor.” Esther 9:22 How great is our God! He always helps and protects his servants the way he sees fit. To this day the Jewish people are celebrating this every year. What a great testimony for the scriptures are the Jewish people. Jesus was Jewish and had and still has a special plan for Jewish people. He is their Messiah, and the savior of the world. Any one who will call upon his name and admit they are a sinner and ask Jesus to save them from hell will be saved. “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13
