Sometimes My prayer life fluctuates, it should not but it does. We should be concerned when we

are not seeing prayers answered. I was talking to a lady today about that fact that since I have been saved God has answered my prayers. Some times in huge ways about a house, job, children, friends and family and sometimes in little ways which amaze me just as much. I was explaining to her that when we are truly born again we know for sure that we are Gods child because He answers prayer (Not selfish prayer, but sincere prayer according to his will). Then I explained how we also receive chastening from God if we do wrong we feel bad. Like our children we tell them what is right and what is wrong so does God with his children. He wants us to have good things and go in the right direction. We just like our children do not want that and tend towards wanting wrong!  “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:” John1:12. If your not sure if you are his child or not because you have not received any answered prayer or chastening when you do wrong. The Bible tells us “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:10 In order t become a child of God we must open our heart and humble ourselves and admit we are a sinner, deserve hell but that we want Jesus(who is God in the flesh) to save us. The Bible says anything we ask from God should be asked in Jesus name. It is exciting that God answers prayer!
