King James Bible 400th Anniversary

“We believe (1) that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction; (2) that it has God for its author, salvation for its end, (3) and truth without any mixture of error for its matter; (4) that it reveals the principles by which God will judge us; (5) and therefore is, and shall remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, (6) and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions should be tried.”…

I could never express in full what my Bible means to me. I am so glad for the sacrifices that were made so that I could have a Bible, and that puts an automatic obligation for me to get the scripture to others who do not have one or do not realize what a treasure that their Bible is.” faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. ” Romans 10:17 With out the Bible I would not know how to go to heaven. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6. I would have no faith. “a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” Romans 3:28 I would be forever lost in hell because of my sins. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23, “the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” 6:23 I would not know that a simple opening of the heart and mouth to God will save anyone who asks. “whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  Romans 10:13″, “with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” 10:10. I would not have any security about what would come after death. “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life “1 John 5:13. I would have no idea what heaven will be like. “I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven…the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass…” Revelation 21. Praise God for my King James Version Bible. I greatfully read several chapters a day, knowing that it has cost many their lives, and will continue to do so and we press on through time to the end of Revelation to the new heaven and new earth, and the city of God where the “nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it.” Revelation 21:24.
