Dinosaurs In The Bible
Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.Lo now, his strength [is] in his loins, and his force [is] in the navel of his belly. He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. His bones [are as] strong pieces of brass; his bones [are] like bars of iron.He [is] the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach [unto him].Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. The shady trees cover him [with] their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.Behold, he drinketh up a river, [and] hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. He taketh it with his eyes: [his] nose pierceth through snares.” Job 40:15-24
Many have examined these verses and clearly this is a Biblical account of a dinosaur. No other animal has “his tail like a cedar”. This is one of many accounts in the Bible of dinosaurs living …
with man. The Bible does not support the theory that evolutionist believe, that dinosaurs died before man. History does not support this theory at all either. There are many extra Biblical accounts of dinosaurs living with man. There are even carvings of dinosaurs in Egyptian art and in many other cultures around the world. Yet dinosaur bones were not discovered until the eighteen hundreds.
The Biblical accounts lead us to believe that after the flood the earth was changed so much dinosaurs had a difficult time adjusting to their new habitat yet some still did. After hundreds of years man eventually killed them off. Due to the fact that they may have been a pest or even sought after for use. “I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem” Nehemiah 2:14 describes having a dragon well. Dragon means big lizard. Here the Bible says “Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, [and] gavest him [to be] meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.”psalm 74:14 describing people eating a dinosaur. It is not that difficult to see that dinosaurs lived with man and did not evolve into birds like some would say. It is not logical to believe that a reptile would evolve into a bird at all. Just like many other animals in any given area of the world, circumstances caused most if not all of them to become extinct.
