God has put rainbows in many different things in his creation. it should come as no surprize that he also tells us there is a rainbow around his throne as well. This painting is about the promise God gives the believer who accepts Jesus Christ as his savior to one day see the rainbow surrounding the throne of God. “Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” Matthew 19:28

Rev 4:3  And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
