where the Spirit of the Lord [is], there [is] liberty. 2 Corinthians 3:17

Having talked to many people of different religious backgrounds basically with out Christ people are working their way to heaven and do not know if they will ever attain heaven or if there is a

heaven. They are very confused and held in the bondage of sin. The only way for them to have liberty is through Jesus Christ. He said him self “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 through Jesus is the only way to heaven and to true liberty from sin. The Bible says “sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” Romans 6:14. It also begs the question“How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation;” Hebrews 2:3

I have heard some say they accept Christ as their savior but also they must live a certain way to maintain salvation. The scripture says if this is the case “Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.” Galatians 5:4 Clearly we are not justified by works “if by grace, then [is it] no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if [it be] of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.” Romans 11:6 That whole mentality is not giving any liberty but again bondage. “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free” Galatians 5:1 The Bible says “with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5 and “if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” Romans 8:9

Through Jesus alone can we attain true liberty “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” 1 Corinthians 15:19 As a believer we have great liberty, we need to share that liberty with others and free the captive just as Jesus “led captivity captive”. Ephesians 4:8″ and ” press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14

“in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8:37
