Remembering 9-11 on 9-11-2011

On September 11 when the attacks took place I was in a class room and our teacher turned on the

tv that morning right as the planes were hitting the towers. I was more afraid for our country and what might be happening to the world as we knew it then than anything. Now ten years later since I have become a believer and accepted Jesus as my savior, I see things much differently. I understand now the beliefs behind those who hijacked the planes, and why they acted in such a hostile way towards America. I am grieved that they have been lead astray by a false religious system. I am grieved at the loss of the lives of those who died, not knowing if they were on their way to heaven or not. It shows me now what is most important in life. “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. ” Colossians 3:2 I am also glad that the true God in heaven Jesus Christ works in broken hearts. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your savior today is the day you should take the time to open your heart to God and accept him, then you will know heaven is your home for ever. This is an example of what you could say when you open your heart to God:

“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. Please forgive my sins and save me from hell. I know You were born of a virgin, you never sinned, but you died on a cross for my sins, and rose again after three days. Please take me to heaven someday.Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ name I pray Amen.”

“we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose. ” Romans 8:28

This is the testimony of a pilot who should have flown on American Airlines Flight 11 on September 11, 2001. Amazing testimony to hear!
