The Cat In the Tree-update
This is our kitty friend who has been stuck in this tree for days now while we have been working on a rescue plan for him!
The Lord has showed me a few different things through this trial. He was stuck in the first “V” in the tree yesterday and this morning, which is about 25 ft from the ground and there are no other branches for him. He is a very timid cat, my husband built him a ramp but he would not go down it because it probably seemed to steep. Then this morning we made many calls and no one could help. So we were waiting by the tree looking at the cat and a truck happened to show up close by that had a bucket, Praise the Lord I thought! The guy got up by the cat but it went further up the tree!
This seemed like a bad thing but it allowed us to throw a rope (which apparently I am not very good at) but God again provided a passerby-er to throw up a rope! He got it right in to that first “V” and then we pulled up a basket with cat food. Now it is up to our kitty friend! I am amazed at Gods provision for each seemingly impossible need we have had in this. “with God all things are possible. ” Matthew 19:26. It has also showed me more about our savior Jesus Christ, all that he endured on the cross. He did to rescue each persons soul which is more precious than even our kitty friend. If you have not accepted Jesus as you savior yet. Today is the day you should do that! “whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. ” Romans 10:13 We are not perfect people, but Jesus was perfect (God in the flesh) and he did for us what we cannot do for ourselves. He paid for our sins for us. I hope that today you will take the time to ask him to save you from hell and take you to heaven when you die, that way your soul will be eternally secure! Just as I hope our kitty friend will trust us and hop into the basket so we can lower him to safety! Because we care for you even more than our precious kitty friend!

The kitty was so close to the basket today! Sadly he did not get in, we pulled more food up to it, but he has not been brave enough to try it.
God is good-we went to the tree where the cat has been stuck and he was not there today. It looks like someone else that we notified of the problem may have helped him down. Praise God!

We are still unable to get the kitty down. If you have any ideas let us know, we are still waiting. Some cats have apparently done this and some how got them selves out. Others have had to be removed from trees. Apparently it is easier to go up than down a strait tree, and no we do not see a whole lot of cat skeletons in trees, probably because when they die they fall out…If you are a believer please pray for Gods will to be accomplished with this cat. I have already seen him work through all these things. “the wild beasts of the field [are] mine.” Psalm 50:11
