God Is Real

Someone asked me the other day, “Do you think God is real? I can not see him”. I told him pretty plainly if you read your Bible you can see God is real. He speaks to you through the Bible and you can see He is there. No one cares for you like God does. David said “I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble. Psalm 142:2. “When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path.” Psalm 142:3″no

..man cared for my soul.” Psalm 144:4 God is there when no one else is! This is the kind of relationship God wants with a believer, trust. I just talked to my little girl about how Jesus cares for her like no one else can, he sees your heart and knows your thoughts. “When you thought about hugging mommy and when you thought about scribbling on the wall, Jesus saw all of that and when you thought I want to smack my brother, Jesus knew that too!” She laughed because she realized it was true. Children need to know that God cares for them and He understands them. They always have someone to turn too, God himself will understand. I am tired of teenage suicide. If teens knew the unconditional love of God that no one else can provide that would change the life of any teen.

You can also see that God is real when you go to a good church. You can read your Bible at home and go to a good fundamental Bible believing church and things happen. You would be amazed how often the preacher will mention the verse you saw in your personal Bible reading time. How does this happen? Only God can do that! It is wonderful.

You can see God is real when you pray. “without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day; ” 2 Timothy 1:3 God honors prayer, I have seen the most simple prayers answered in my life. ” faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

You can see God is real when you look at the creation. “the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen” Romans 1:20. You cannot have a creation with out a creator. The laws of thermodynamics confirm the existence of a creator. The fact that any message must have a sender and DNA (our genetic makeup) is full of messages shows that there must be an all powerful creator.

You can see God is real when you look at Israel.  “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.He came unto his own, and his own received him not.” John 1:10-11 The Bible tells us that the Messiah would be Jewish and that the Jewish people would reject him. He would be crusified “they pierced my hands and my feet. ” Psalm 22:16 for our sins “But he [was] wounded for our transgressions,” Isaiah 53:5. The prophecies written hundreds of years by Jewish people were fulfilled in Yeshua- Jesus the Messiah. Then we are told that “This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. ” Acts 2:32 There were many among the witnesses who saw the resurrected Christ in Israel. Many Jewish men gave their lives during that time after the resurrection of Jesus in order to give a testimony for Jesus’. “They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword:” Hebrews 11:37 Even to this very day we are suffering as martyrs all over the world for Christ. Paul said “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. “2 Corinthians 2:12

Because God is real we look forward to“the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: ” 2 timothy 1:10 The days on this earth are just a tiny speck of time in light of eternity. The Bible tells us “his days [are] as a shadow that passeth away. ” Psalm 144:4. God has prepared us a city “I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. ” Revelation 21:2 This city is where “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:” Revelation 21:4. There in that city the Bible says“they shout for joy, they also sing. “Psalm 65:13 I can not wait for it, because God is real.
