Is it not wheat harvest to day?1 Sam 12:16

What is the harvest? you may ask. God tells us in the Bible of a harvest, referring to the souls of men who if not saved they will burn in hell.“Let grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” Matthew 13:30. The Bible tells us that the fields are white, they are ready….

“Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” John 4:35 People want to be saved, they just need to be told the word of God so that they can accept Christ. In places around the world people do not have a Bible, some do not have one because they are not allowed to have them, others do not have them because there has not been a Bible translated into their language and some have no written language at all. People are dieing fast and need those who are saved to get them the word of God. “he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.”  prov 10:5. It is a shameful thing for a believer not to be concerned about the harvest.“The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;” Matthew 9:37. It is also a shame that so few are laboring in Gods harvest. It is not hard at all to get involved in the harvest, (if you have asked Jesus to save you from hell and accepted his free gift of salvation) to begin laboring in the harvest we can start by telling others how you accepted Jesus. It is also helpful to carry gospel tracts on you so when you are in a hurry you can give them to people. “if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9  Usually tracts have Bible verses that explain “how to be sure you are going to heaven” such as Romans 3:23,6:23, 5:8,10:13 and 10:9. Please get involved if you are a believer, the souls of your friends, families, neighbors and people all around the world are depending on your obedience to God in sharing his word with others.

Gods word tells us also of another harvest, “the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.” Matthew 13:39. Some refer to this as the rapture. The Bible tell us that during this harvest “we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:17. The Bible says believers will be caught up by the Lord away from the earth, at the same time the graves of those who have already gone to be with the Lord will open up and the “the dead in Christ shall rise first: “1 Thess 4:16. Then all believers go back to heaven during the revealing of the anti-Christ, and the rest of the event until the end of the world, then a city is Built for all believers. The events described leading up to this rapture-harvest many are taking place today. If you have not asked Jesus to save you yet, you are yet in your sins and the Bible say with out Jesus you will be cast into the fire. “whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. ” Revelation 20:15. How ever this does not have to be the case, if you will simply pray believing in your heart, and ask Jesus to save you from hell, and to take you to heaven because he died for you on the cross. He will save you today and you can be called “righteous” before God, not because of you own goodness but because of Jesus.  “Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.” Matthew 14:43
