Faith cometh by hearing hearing by the word of God…

I was amazed as I lie in a hospital bed …

with nothing but silence and the occasional sound of people passing by, all of a sudden a loud voice from the room next door came on and started to read these verses loudly. It must have been someone listening to a preacher on their TV. But the voice came on just long enough to read these verses and then wish the viewers a good night. Little did they know I had just read these verses the day before and recorded this verse in my devotion book. “in thy light shall we see light.” What a comfort it was to hear these familiar words from the Lord and to know he is in charge of it all.

5Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

6Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

7How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

8They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

9For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.Psalm 41:3
