Wall Street Painting
“occupy wall street” water color painting by creationartist
My big question about this whole thing is where is the soul winning at “occupy wall street”? What a great opportunity God has given the Independent Fundamental Baptist to reach souls that are searching for truth and purpose at ”occupy wall street”! The Bible says “Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.” Matthew 22:9…
Jesus said go and tell! “ Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15. What is the gospel? Simply that Jesus is God in the flesh who came to die for the sins of man. “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ” Romans 3:23. Which means none of us can get to heaven on our own merit. “For the wages of sin [is] death;” Romans 6:23. That simply means what we all deserve is hell for our sin. “God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. ” Romans 5:8. This tells us that in spite of our sin God wants us in heaven, and Jesus made the only payment possible for our sin. He never did any wrong yet was crucified on a cross at Calvary for the sins of every one in the world. If you believe this in your heart, you can ask him to save you and take you to heaven when you die and he will. “if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. ” Romans 10:9. Those who die with out Jesus as their personal savior will spend eternity in torment. “in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments” Luke 16:23. This is an example of a man who lived and walked this earth who will be in hell forever, because he never humbled himself and asked Jesus to be his savior. The gospel is drastically important the loss of one persons soul to hell is too many.
Back to wall street, people are saying WWJD, he would be soul winning. Jesus would be binding up the broken hearted with the gospel. He would be feeding the poor with the bread from heaven! Let me remind you Jesus said “occupy” till I come. “Occupy till I come.”He will never leave us nor forsake us.
Luke 19:13. “The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. ” Luke 10:2.
A good place to find affordable gospel tracts of many different languages:
