Paintings and color schemes

-oil on canvas   Cool color scheme VS Warm color scheme

The painting on the left was a cool color scheme. I have since gone back and tried to warm it up some but still it looks much cooler by comparison to this warm color scheme on the right. The warm color scheme looks much more inviting than the cool color scheme. When you think about it most people do not enjoy  being cold, so a warm color scheme is usually much more attractive.

“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” Revelation 3:15-16

God even explains this in a spiritual sense to the believer. He would rather we be on fire for God or cold to him. If we are cold maybe later we will get on fire for him again. But if we stay lukewarm and indifferent, instead of hot or cold the chances of us turning around and getting on fire for God are slim.
