Our trip to the creation museum was fantastic. There was more to look at than I could have imagined. Every thing was bearing testimony to the Lord Jesus ‘Yeshua” Christ being God and our Savior. I had never dreamed about such a place as a child. It seems as though I remember being dragged through godless museums that bore a useless meaningless testimony of evolution. This was a completely different scene. It put together all the pieces of the puzzle and answered many of the questions evolution had left me with…

“In the beginning God created…”Genesis 1:1 It showed a small scale example of the garden of Eden the Bible speaks of where God placed the first man and woman. A perfect place where God could have perfect fellowship with them.

Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which God told them not to eat of ” she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. ” Genesis 3:6. This is what brought death and suffering into the world. At this time God also gave a promise of one who would come and restore all things, Jesus “Yeshua” the Messiah…

We saw other neat things like rock layers and fossils. This is one large piece of evidence that changed my mind about evolution. Fossils and rock layers were the results of a world wide flood that occurred when God sent judgment to the earth over 4,000 years ago. The layering and massive fossil graves only make sense when caused by a catastrophic flood. Fault lines, mountains, canyons…ect. were all caused by the flood as well.

We were able to see wonderfully sculpted dinosaurs. Dinosaur means “Big Lizard” and that is just what they are. During the time before the flood the earths climate was much different. Animals and people were able to grow much bigger. The Bible talks of a “Firmament” or layer of water that was above the earths atmosphere. This was protecting the earth from harmful sun rays, and increased the oxygen pressure making plants and animals much larger. That  is where the dinosaurs come in.

They lived with man and for some time ate only plants. After the curse and the flood some became meat eaters. There are many records of dinosaurs, dragons or “Big Lizards” living among people even past the 1,500s. They were used by people in some cases in their daily life activities, others were considered pests and driven away or killed. Eventually most, possibly all of them died out.

The museum even covered the honey bee. This creature is so complex and high functioning it is impossible that it would have just evolved through chance random processes. Not to mention that evolution goes right against known testable provable scientific laws. “It was designed to do what it does do and what is does do it does do well..”

Then we got to Moses and the ten commandments. The ten commandments were given to show us that we are not perfect and all of us are in need of a savior.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ” Romans 3:23

Last of all we see that Jesus “Yeshua” has fulfilled all of the prophecies spoken of the Jewish Messiah. He was born of the seed of a woman- Genesis 3:15,Born of a virgin-Isiah 7:14,Born in Bethlehem-Mica 5:2,Tribe of Judah-Genesis 49:10,Descendant of Abraham-Genesis 12:3,Son of God-Proverbs 30:4,Rejected Isaiah 53:3, A man that bears the sins of the world Isaiah 53:4 and the list goes on. Jesus “Yeshua” died on the cross to pay for our sins. “he was bruised for our iniquities:” Isaiah 53:5. If we accept him as our savior we will go to heaven, if not hell will be our sad fate. Ministries like this creation museum have made the difference for me in my life. They have taught me that the Bible is true and we did not evolve from apes. God made us and has a purpose for our life. He wants us all in heaven. If you have not accepted Jesus “Yeshua” as your savior I hope today you will before it is to late.
