Can Evolution and the Bible both be right?

This is a surprisingly tough question for most Christians, although the answer is pretty simplistic. If Evolution is true, the Bible cannot be true. The Bible says “For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day; and hallowed it” (Exodus 20:11). The Bible says God made everything in six literal days and Evolution says everything was created through slow gradual processes over Billions of years. So the Bible and evolution can not both be true. If we take this a step further we have to ask ourselves another question. If the Bible is not true how can we tell right from wrong? The answer is clear, we can’t. Truth would be just be everyone’s opinion of what truth is, which isn’t truth at all! Thats why I am glad the Bible is true and evolution is a false doctorine. Since the Bible is God’s perfect word and it tells us what is right and wrong, we can know truth.

Have you ever tried using graphic programs to edit your paintings? I just recently tried it and love it! I don’t have to put the paint on my canvas in order to try out different color schemes, or to move my horizon, subject or even to take things out of my painting. Here are some examples of what I did using Gimp image editor (a free program) to edit one of my paintings.

Here I used the color balance tool to warm up the painting under colors on the tool bar.

How can we tell the Bible is the inspired word of God?

This is a tough question that an atheist just asked me. I was a little taken back because the bible says we are to be ready always to give an answer. 1 Peter 3:15 To be honest I didn’t have one other than the fact that we can’t tell right from wrong with out the Bible. Being a new Christian I have never had any one ask me this before. I have been researching so that I will be able to give an answer. This atheist particularly wanted to know about the Jews also. In my research I found that we can prove the Bible is inspired by the countless prophecy’s that have been fulfilled, the evidence the Bible points out in the creation and the proof of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Well the Lord just revealed to me something big that has been going wrong with my painting, I am not sure if any other artist have this problem to or if it’s just me. He revealed to me a “chroma problem” I was fussing with my last painting and adding more detail, and then taking some out and couldn’t get it where I wanted it. so I started flipping through one of my art books and it said that chroma is the intensity of color and the subject should have the most chroma and contrast, and likened using all high chroma colors with using all high musical notes when singing. So with this painting I dulled everything with light gray but the subject. Does the subject seem to pop out at you now?
