Since Yeshua is Jewish when I see the star of David it reminds me of the star of Bethlehem that told the wise men the Savior was born. “unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6″

From what I can see the scripture tells us about the Messiah I believe Yeshua is indeed the true Messiah. The scriptures tell us we all have a need for a Messiah because we all have sinned and God will not let sin in to heaven with out an atonement. “I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” Psalm 51:5 You must have your sin forgiven to go to heaven. In the torah, the only way for sin to be forgiven was for the high priest to go into the holy of hollies, within the veil ,and make atonement, for himself and the sins of the people. “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it [is] the blood [that] maketh an atonement for the soul.” Leviticus 17:11 Only blood can make atonement for your sin.

“Jewish Holocaust Survivor ZVI” “יהודי ניצול שואה צבי”

This painting is based on the events in the book ZVI.  A Jewish man who was just a boy during the holocaust. He was separated from his parents and siblings-who were put into a ghetto with thousands of other Jews. They were eventually probably among the thousands burned to death in the ghetto. He sat out side the ghetto trying to reach them for months and was unable to find them. He saw many horrific things described in his book. the life circumstances he and many other Jews had to lived through is unthinkable. He even smuggled food into the ghetto on several occasions to starving people. He suffered extreme hunger, sickness, he had no home many times and was forced to work for a Nazi under the disguise of a polish boy. Fortunately he had blond hair! Eventually he was among the few who were able to come to Palestine and be there when Israel became a nation. He fought many times diffusing bombs as a soldier for his country Israel.  Eventually he met the love of his life Jesus-the Messiah. After reading the new covenant he decided that Jesus was the one that was spoken of by the prophets. Just like it says in Zechariah 12:10 “they shall look upon me whom they have pierced”.  He became a Jewish Christian and later married a woman who put her faith in Jesus as the Messiah and had four children.The Lord restored to him all that was lost in the holocaust and more…his salvation! Great and mighty is the Lord our God! His battle was not over after this now he battles for the souls of his own Jewish people. He has a great burden to bring them to the understanding that Jesus is there Messiah. This was very difficult for him especially since many of the Jews had been tortured or even murdered by people who referred to them selves as Christian. He must explain to them that Jesus him self was a Jew and said He came not to destroy the law and the prophets but to fulfill it, and that is just what he did! Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

ZVI has been able to see the lives of some of his own Jewish people who have lost so much in the holocaust healed after accepting Jesus as the Messiah. What a great testimony ZVI has!

ציור זה מבוסס על האירועים בספר ZVI. איש יהודי היה רק ילד בזמן השואה. הוא הופרד הוריו ואחיו, מי הוכנסו לגטו עם אלפי יהודים אחרים. בסופו של דבר הם היו ככל הנראה בין אלפי שנשרפו למוות בגטו. הוא ישב בצד את הגטו מנסה להגיע אליהם במשך חודשים ולא הצליח למצוא אותם. הוא ראה דברים נוראים רבים המתוארים בספר שלו. בנסיבות החיים הוא ויהודים רבים אחרים נאלצו שחוו לא יעלה על הדעת. הוא הבריח מזון לגטו אפילו בכמה הזדמנויות לאנשים הרעבים. הוא סבל ממחלה קיצונית, רעב, אין לו המון פעמים ונאלץ לעבוד נאצי במסווה של ילד פולני. למרבה המזל היה לו שיער בלונדיני! בסופו של דבר הוא היה בין היחידים שהיו מסוגלים להגיע פלסטין ולהיות שם כאשר ישראל לגוי. הוא נלחם פצצות פעמים רבות לשדר כחייל עבור ישראל. ארצו בסופו של דבר פגש את אהבת חייו, ישוע המשיח. אחרי שקראתי את הברית החדשה, הוא החליט כי ישו היה זה דיברו על ידי הנביאים. בדיוק כמו שכתוב זכריה 12:10 “הם אראה אלי את אשר דקרו”. הוא היה יהודי נוצרי נשוי לאחר מכן אישה את אמונתה בישו כמשיח ונולדו להם ארבעה ילדים לא ה משוחזר לו כל מה שאבד בשואה ועוד … ישועתו! גדול ועצום הוא ה ‘אלוקינו! הקרב שלו לא נגמר אחרי זה ועכשיו הוא נלחם למען נשמותיהם של העם היהודי עצמו. יש לו נטל כבד להביא אותם להבנה שישוע הוא לא המשיח. זה היה מאוד קשה לו במיוחד משום שרבים מן היהודים עונו או נרצחו אפילו על ידי אנשים הנזכרים בהם האני בתור נוצרי. הוא חייב להבהיר להם כי ישו עצמו היה אותו יהודי ואמר שהוא בא כדי לא להרוס את החוק והנביאים אלא למלא אותה, וזה בדיוק מה שהוא עשה! ישעיהו 09:06 “כי אל לנו ילד נולד, אל לנו בן ניתן: והממשלה תהיה על כתפו: ושמו יקרא נפלא, יועץ, אל גיבור, אבי עולם, נסיך שלום.

צבי הצליח לראות את חייהם של כמה מן העם היהודי שלו שאיבדו כל כך הרבה בשואה נרפא לאחר שקיבל את ישוע כמשיח. מה העדות הגדולה צבי יש!

Marc Chagall style of painting is fascinating to me. Although some of his paintings are not appropriate. This one certainly is very important since it features Jesus presenting himself to the Jewish people in their time of need. Something I have been reading a lot about lately,biographies of Jewish people coming to know Jesus as their Messiah after the holocaust.

KING OF THE JEWS/מלך היהודים

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5

Just as Isaiah tells us of a Jewish man, out of the line of David who would die for the sins of all the people of the world. We can see in Matthew “they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.” Matthew 27:35 and on his cross it was written “THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.” Matthew 27:38. Psalm 22 even tells us what would happen to the Jewish messiah “they pierced my hands and my feet.” Psalm 22:16. This is exactly what happened to Jesus in Israel , they pierced his hands and his feet hanging him on a cross after a brutal beating and a crown of thorns pounded onto his head. These verses confirm he is the savior, but only of those who accept him. People are not automatically saved, they must be “Born again” John 3:3. This comes by asking Jesus to save you from hell because you are a sinner and you want to go to heaven. If you have not done that yet can you do that today before it is to late?

 ISAIAH 53/ישעיה 53

Isaiah 53: 3-7 Gives us the description of the Jewish Messiah:

“He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.”

Does this description of the Messiah cause you to look any where else but to Yeshua (Jesus) himself. Jesus we know was born of a virgin “a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” Isaiah 7:14. He never sinned, but he took our sins on his body through the death of the cross “they pierced my hands and my feet. Psalm 22:16 “But, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” like it says in Psalm 53. He came out of Bethlehem, out of the tribe of Judah ” In Judah is God known:” Psalm 76:1. Every detail given of who the Messiah would be in the scripture is fulfilled Yeshua (Jesus).  What do we do about it? Accept him as your messiah and only sacrifice needed for your sins. Pray and tell him you want him to be your savior today before it is too late. “I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.” Psalm 116:13.

Example: Lord, I know I am a sinner and deserve hell. I know you were born of a virgin, lived a perfect life and died for my sins. Please save me and take me to heaven someday, I know you are the Messiah and I can not save myself. In Yeshua (Jesus) Name I pray Amen.”

ישעיהו 53: 3-7 נותן לנו את התיאור של המשיח היהודי:

דוגמה: אלוהים, אני יודע שאני חוטא וראויים לכל הרוחות. אני יודע שנולדת של בתולה, חי חיים מושלמים ומת על החטאים שלי. אנא הצל אותי ולקחת אותי לגן עדן ביום מן הימים, אני יודע שאתה המשיח, ואני לא יכול להציל את עצמי. שם (ישוע) ישוע אני מתפלל אמן. ”

The Bible tells us God wants us to “Believe in our heart  confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9.”  and confess with our mouth. You need to ask Jesus to save you believing in your heart that he lived, died, and rose from the dead for your sins.
