This Page is to teach children more about God, creation, the Gospel and Art.
We have four children who love to take adventures with me sharing the Gospel (Good News about Jesus Christ) with the people in our city. Their names are Verda, Adah, Judah, and Baby Peter. I started painting when I was five years old. I grew up living in a rough home and was only taught evolution in school. One day I met a Christian man who told me about creation, and how God made everything. I studied evolution and creation science. Creation science makes much more sense! There is evidence all around us of the God of the Bible, such as the flood. We see fossils everywhere they tell us of the judgment of God from a world wide flood.
The Bible teaches that all people came from one couple. God made Adam out of the dust of the ground and Eve was made out of his rib. We can not understand how complex the human body is, only God could have made the human body. Evolution does not think, therefore evolution can not produce information. Information must have a sender that sender is God.
Not long after the flood the climate changed, man and animal saw the effect of this change. We could no longer live to be hundreds of years old. Animals could not get as big as they once were.
During the flood many scientist who study creation believe that a canopy of water which was above the sky came down. The firmament coming down caused the oxygen on earth to deplete making it harder for large animals to breath, plants to grow to be huge and humans to live to be hundreds of years old “God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters…God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.” Genesis 1:6-7.
After the flood God confused the languages because of the wickedness of man. The people were building a tower to heaven, they did not want to look to the Messiah. They wanted to make their own way to heaven. People were much more intelligent at this time and able to build things we can’t even comprehend like the pyramids.
“Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.”Genesis 11:9
After the tower of Babel God promised a man named Abraham that He would use him the bring the Messiah into the world. God used Jacob, Abraham’s grandson a to bring this closer to fruition. Jacob had four wives who birthed him twelve sons. There were of course problems in this family because he had four wives. The twelve didn’t get along, they put most of their anger on Jacob’s second to youngest son Joseph. Joseph came from Rachael Jacobs favorite wife.
Because of their hatred the brothers sold Joseph into slavery one day. By God’s providence he was taken to Egypt and there became a ruler second to Pharaoh. God sent a famine and soon the brothers went to Egypt the only place where food had been saved for the famine. Joseph forgives his brothers and tells them, “here will I nourish thee; for yet there are five years of famine; lest thou, and thy household, and all that thou hast, come to poverty. ” Genesis 45:11. He cares for them and soon they become a great people called Israel after their father Jacob. God’s providence save Israel out of all kinds of distress and He keep them safe because one day they will produce the Messiah. For more stories about the people of Israel click the pictures.
Many prophets came such as Moses who led the Israelite out of Egpyt to the promise land the land of Israel. Israel is where most of the action takes place. Since this time Israel has been the focus of all the earth. Once in Israel God had the Jewish people establish a temple where they sacrifices animals for their sins. This never actually took away our sins, it just showed us that there needed to be a sacrifice for sins. It showed us that one day the Messiah would come “your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” Isaiah 59:2 Since sacrifices have stopped long ago and with good reason, we must look to the messiah for the “one sacrifice for sins for ever”. There are many prophecies in the old testament about the Messiah and Yeshua fits them all!
“a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” Isaiah 7:14. God had a plan that a virgin from the people Israel was going to birth the Messiah. It was prophesied by all of God’s prophets.
“unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6″The Messiah was to be:Born of the seed of a woman- Genesis 3:15 Born of a virgin-Isiah 7:14 Born in Bethlehem-Mica 5:2 Tribe of Judah-Genesis 49:10 Descendant of Abraham-Genesis 12:3 Son of God-Proverbs 30:4 Called shiloh Genesis 49:10 Despised Isaiah 53:3 Rejected Isaiah 53:3 A man of sorrows Isaiah 53:3 A man that bears the sins of the world Isaiah 53:4
Jesus Christ fits every prophecy the prophets gave. He is not Catholic as many Jewish people suppose but is Jewish. His disciples were Jewish as well. Not long after Jesus “Yeshua” (this is His name is Hebrew) was crucified, risen from the dead and returned to heaven wicked men used His name to do evil things such as the Holocaust. This is still the case today, many men call themselves “pope, priests, pastors, preachers” do not follow Yeshua but use His name to get themselves gain. If Yeshua were walking this earth today He would never attend any of the “churches”. Instead He would meet in homes with His disciples like He modeled for us in the New Covenant. They shared a meal on the first day of the week, in remembrance of Him, for His sacrifice on the cross for our sins. This was a time of joy and fellowship much like the passover.
We can still see the Garden Tomb in Israel has every reason to be suspected to be His tomb. It was at the last minute enlarged to fit another body into it, and there was not one rotten corpse found in the whole tome. Something happened at this tomb. It wasn’t finished yet it was in perfect shape.
There are many infallible proofs that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, God who came to pay for our sins. That way we could know God , He could be our friend and one day we could live with Him, in a wonderful city called the New Jerusalem.
